Wings in Relief

Join us at Freestone Press Studio on Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 May from 10.30am to 5pm (both days) for a relief print workshop lead by artist Dianne Fogwell. Workshop will take place at Freestone Press in Briagolong, 566 Freestone Creek Rd, Briagolong.

In this two-day masterclass and workshop participants will be encouraged to embrace the versatility and expressiveness of the relief process via an investigation into Australian birds.

With examples and demonstrations, Dianne will take you through a practical step by step journey of image making and printing. Discussing drawing for the block, image creation, tools and the mark, registration and printing techniques for hand or the press.

This masterclass and workshop will not only create a unique work, but will “fine tune” for the experienced, troubleshoot some questions and inspire those who venture into the relief process.
